RESFEST 2025: A Musical Celebration You Won’t Want to Miss!

This Saturday, music lovers and families are in for an exciting experience as Resonance Entertainment launches the inaugural RESFEST 2025 concert at Vodafone Arena in Suva. The event promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with music and storytelling, highlighting the artistic journey of Resonance Entertainment and featuring a variety of local talents.

According to Apakuki ‘KUKI’ Nalawa, lead singer of InsideOut, the five-hour show will be unlike any musical event, featuring not only performances but also meaningful narratives about the artists involved. “The artists that we have within Resonance usually perform in resorts and hardly do public appearances, so RESFEST will be the perfect opportunity for people to come in and listen to them all under one roof,” Nalawa stated.

One of the most anticipated collaborations includes Nalawa teaming up with the Primanavia choir for a powerful rendition of his song “Noqu Vanua,” which has generated significant buzz among fans. The lineup will also feature exciting performances from Fosho, Marama, Vegas Six, and the InsideOut band.

In order to promote inclusivity and accessibility, the event will be family-friendly, with free entry for children under five years old. For those unable to attend in person, a livestreaming option will be available on the VITI+ platform, allowing audiences from outside of Suva to partake in the celebration of local music.

The upcoming concert marks a pivotal moment in Fiji’s music scene as it showcases local artists who typically perform in more limited venues, thus providing them with a valuable platform for exposure on a larger scale. This initiative aligns with a broader trend of enhancing Fiji’s artistic landscape and community engagement through music, fostering a sense of pride and unity.

The influx of musical events like RESFEST represents a bright future for the creative industries in Fiji, as these gatherings continue to uplift local talent while enriching the cultural fabric of the region.
