Weather Update
Brought to you by the National Weather Forecasting Centre in sunny Nadi at 7:30 PM on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
Tonight and into tomorrow, our beloved Fiji group will see a lovely tapestry of cloudy periods adorned with brief showers in places like Kadavu, Nadroga-Navosa, Serua-Namosi, Naitasiri-Tailevu, Rakiraki, Cakaudrove, Southern Bua, Lau, and the Lomaiviti Islands. Meanwhile, other areas will enjoy a more laid-back atmosphere with mainly fine weather. As the night creeps in, expect some cool temperatures—so remember to cuddle up with a hot drink or your favorite fluffy blanket!
Now, let’s talk about the winds. Moderate south to southeast breezes will keep you company, while the seas might be feeling a tad moody—moderate to rough, so don’t say we didn’t warn you if you run into a wave or two!
Looking forward to Monday, it appears we’ll still be on the partly cloudy train, with brief showers popping up over Kadavu, Sigatoka, Serua-Namosi, Naitasiri, Tailevu, Rakiraki, Cakaudrove, Southern Bua, Lau, and the Lomaiviti bunch. Everywhere else is likely to be basking in the fine weather conditions. The cool nights will remain, and the winds will pick up a bit, freshening things up—because who doesn’t love a little breeze in their hair?
For our friends in Navua, Suva, and Nausori, expect a similar vibe with part cloudiness and some brief showers, followed by those cozy, cool nights.
On the Coral Coast and in the Sigatoka area, it’s more of the same with partly cloudy skies. Brace yourself—this is shocking—cool nights ahead!
If you’re in Nadi, Lautoka, or Ba, you might want to break out the sunglasses. Fine weather will be your partner in crime, along with those refreshing cool nights.
For Tavua and Rakiraki, the forecast looks equally fabulous with fine weather and cool nights to wrap up each day.
Moving to Natadradave and Korovou, expect some clouds and showers to hang around, but fear not—the cool nights will still be there to keep you company.
Yasawa and the Mamanuca group, we’ve reserved the fine weather just for you, paired with those perfectly cool evenings.
In Labasa, things are a tad partly cloudy with a few afternoon showers to mix it up, but as always, cool nights will put a nice end to your day.
Savusavu will be experiencing some clouds with a few showers thrown into the mix, plus those anticipated cool nights ahead.
Lau and the Lomaiviti Islands will be dancing among the clouds with a few showers as well and, of course, the beloved cool nights.
For Kadavu, expect a repeat of partly cloudy skies with brief showers. Don’t forget—cool evenings are guaranteed!
Lastly, over in Rotuma, the mood is brought down by a rather sulky trough of low pressure looming overhead, presenting you with cloudy periods and some showers, possibly accompanied by a few rambunctious thunderstorms. Moderate easterly winds will keep the excitement going, with seas that might just challenge your sailing skills.
Monday’s forecast for Rotuma still promises those cloudy periods alongside a few showers. So, whether you’re planning a beach day or a cozy night in, remember—stay updated, stay prepared, and always be ready for a spontaneous shower!
