Defending champions NZFFI Auckland All Stars experienced a setback as they lost 1-0 to the USA All Stars in their second Group B match of the 2024 Flick Hygiene Pacific Community Cup in Lautoka. The game saw the Kiwis conceding a penalty in the 35th minute, which was successfully converted by Javier Mariona of the USA.
Despite having notable players such as national representatives Gabriel Matanisiga and Mohammed Raheem on their roster, the Auckland All Stars struggled to break down a well-organized and effective USA defense.
