Good morning Fiji! As we break into the day, it seems an easterly wind flow has decided to set up camp over our beautiful island group, promising a weather cocktail that’s part cloud, part sunshine, with a splash of showers here and there.
For our friends in Navua, Suva, and Nausori—it’s all about those cloudy moments with brief splashes of rain. So, remember to carry your brollies and maybe tap dance through those puddles. With temperatures dipping to a cool 19 and highs attempting a cheerful 28, it’s the perfect excuse to flaunt your favorite sweater at sunset.
Now, Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba are basking in mainly fine weather, where the most challenging decision might be choosing your sunscreen factor. With a nighttime cool of 18 and a daytime crispness peaking at 29, you might just find yourself stuck between an extra blanket or a hot cocoa.
Across the Coral Coast and in Sigatoka, expect mainly fine weather, though Mother Nature might surprise you with some afternoon or evening showers. Again, night temperatures are dialed to a comfy 19, reaching a sunny high of 29. It’s the kind of weather that makes a hammock look like the best life choice ever.
In Tavua and Rakiraki, while it’s mostly fine, an occasional shower might play peek-a-boo. Expect similar temperatures, with brisk nights at 20 and delightful days strutting around at 29.
Moving to the Yasawa and Mamanuca group, they are having mainly fine weather, with the possibility of an odd shower to keep things interesting. Nighttime’s gentle chill from 20 makes you want to stargaze, while daytime goes up to a warm 30.
Labasa seems to be riding the fine weather train too, challenging the maximum heat with a high of 31. Once the sun tucks in, nights get snug at 20 degrees.
Savusavu is playing host to cloudy periods draped with brief showers, so rain boots might not be out of place. Temps swing from a fresh 20 to a mellow 28, making any shower feel like a cool whisper.
As for Taveuni, Kadavu, Lau, and the Lomaiviti group, they’re in for brief showers here and there. Meanwhile, the ever-efficient clouds are working overtime. Night temperatures hover around 19-20, and daytime highs attempt to touch 28.
Rotuma, keep your hats on and your sails tight! A strong wind warning is in place with winds hustling at 45km/hr. The skies are prim and mostly fine today, using tomorrow to schedule some showers. Temperatures strum a cozy tune from 25 to 30, with winds hopefully calming their song soon.
Stay safe and enjoy the whimsical concoctions of Fiji weather, where every day is an adventure in sky-watching!
