The Fiji Rugby Union is gearing up for an exhilarating announcement regarding travel packages for fans eager to attend the upcoming Nations Championship in the Northern Hemisphere. FRU Chair John Sanday revealed that they are currently in talks with sponsors to curate appealing air travel options for supporters both from Fiji and overseas, allowing them to cheer for the Fiji Water Flying Fijians.

This competition marks a significant milestone as it is the first time Fiji will partake in a well-structured international series of this kind. Sanday is encouraging fans from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres to show their support in large numbers for the team.

“We are in discussions with some of our sponsors and travel agents to get fan packages along with tickets, and that will be announced very soon. We want as many fans possible to support our boys,” Sanday stated.

The campaign is set to begin on July 4, with Fiji facing off against the Wales national rugby union team in Cardiff. Following that, Fiji will host England on July 11 and then head to Edinburgh to compete against the Scotland national rugby union team at Murrayfield Stadium on July 18.

This initiative not only enhances the experience for rugby enthusiasts but also fosters a sense of community and support for the team. The excitement surrounding the Nations Championship presents a unique opportunity for both fans and players to engage and celebrate their shared passion for rugby.
