The initial session of the caution interview involving Charlie Charters was completed earlier today and has been paused until later this afternoon. His attorney, Seforan Fatiaki, assured FBC News that Charters is maintaining a positive outlook as the proceedings unfold.

Fatiaki mentioned that it is probable Charters will be held in custody overnight and is expected to be brought before the court on Monday. At this point, no charges have been filed against Charters.

FBC News has learned that following the completion of the caution interview, the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) will determine if any charges will be brought forward. Anticipation surrounds the developments expected later today as the interview resumes.

Additionally, it has been reported that the Judicial Services Commission will convene today to discuss the latest updates regarding FICAC.

FBC News is committed to providing timely updates as further information emerges. The situation remains dynamic, and both the legal proceedings and public interest in this case underscore the importance of accountability within the judicial system.
