A violent altercation outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized, with two of them currently in a state of unconsciousness. Police authorities have reported that these two victims, along with a third, are receiving medical care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva; the third person is said to be in stable condition.
Additionally, three other individuals affected by the incident are being treated at the Sigatoka Hospital, where they are all reported to be stable.
It appears that some of those involved in the altercation may be associated with a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, which hosted its awards night in Suva the previous evening. In response to this incident, Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, has indicated that the Central Division police are actively investigating and working to apprehend those involved in the brawl.
