A new premium waterfront coffee bar and dining venue is set to launch on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026, with an investment of $7 million aimed at transforming the hospitality landscape in the area. This establishment promises to be a premier destination for corporate, tourism, and local markets, offering an exceptional dining experience with stunning waterfront views.
Positioned in a prime location, the venue boasts an impressive architectural design, featuring modern hospitality amenities. It will operate from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM from Tuesday to Sunday, serving a diverse menu that spans from early morning specialty coffee and breakfast to upscale evening dining and bar services.
One of the standout features is the appointment of a distinguished Chinese chef from China, renowned for his previous roles as head chef in New Zealand and Japan. He will lead the culinary team, offering authentic Chinese dishes alongside Western and Indian options, all crafted to meet international culinary standards.
The facility encompasses approximately 700 square meters dedicated to the restaurant and bar, alongside 1,200 square meters allocated for a hall and stage, and 800 square meters for lounge areas, culminating in a total floor area of 3,694 square meters. This expansive venue includes three kitchens, two stages, waiting lounges, washrooms, private rooms, offices, storage areas, and open spaces.
Designed to cater to large events, the venue can accommodate up to 300 guests on the first floor, which includes a stage, VIP room, and kitchen facilities. The ground floor lounge can host over 100 guests, complemented by an additional 200 seats across the restaurant and coffee bar areas, perfect for corporate functions, tour groups, and private celebrations.
Guests can expect premium facilities such as a Bar and Bar Lounge, a dedicated Pizza Lounge, and a Specialty Coffee Bar with an extensive selection of blended coffee options. The addition of outdoor seating and traditional waterfront bures will enhance the atmosphere, merging luxury with island charm.
To ensure easy access for visitors, the development will provide ample paid parking with dedicated access for taxis, buses, yachts, and other modes of transport to accommodate the wider Fantasy Island community.
In line with maintaining an upscale ambiance, a strict smart dress code will be observed, supported by highly trained staff dedicated to delivering a polished guest experience from arrival to departure.
Abbas Ali, the developer behind Fantasy Island, expressed the project’s significance within the broader Fantasy Island development by Fantasy Island Resorts Pte Ltd, trading as Coffee Outback. He noted his observations regarding the declining standards of coffee shops and dining outlets in Nadi, highlighting the pressing need for improved service quality and food standards.
“The general public deserves a much higher standard of service and food,” he stated, emphasizing that his substantial investment aims to address this need, despite it not being his area of expertise.
This landmark opening is anticipated to attract locals, tourists, and corporate clientele, positioning the venue as a premier hub within the region’s hospitality scene, offering a fresh, high-quality dining experience for all.
