A meeting took place involving US Embassy Chief Law Enforcement Officer Samuel Holland, alongside DEA officials Colin Hart and Doug Sullivan, and Fiji’s Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu. The discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation in addressing drug trafficking and associated criminal activities.
Holland announced plans to broaden training programs at the DEA Academy, highlighting that support will also extend to drug awareness initiatives and demand reduction efforts. Meanwhile, Commissioner Tudravu expressed the Fiji Police Force’s appreciation for robust international partnerships, emphasizing that effectively battling the global drug trade necessitates coordinated efforts across national borders.
