Blue House showcased their athletic prowess on Saturday at the Suva Grammar School inter-house competition held at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. They emerged victorious, amassing an impressive total of 32 gold, 23 silver, and 27 bronze medals.
In a fierce contest, Blue House surpassed the previous year’s champion, Yellow House, which secured second place with 28 gold, 23 silver, and 19 bronze medals. Green House placed third, claiming 27 gold, 22 silver, and 11 bronze medals, while Red House rounded out the competition in fourth place with 14 gold, 23 silver, and 25 bronze medals.
The event not only highlighted the competitive spirit between the houses but also revealed a new generation of talented young athletes who are likely to represent their school in the upcoming Suva Zone Two meet and the highly anticipated Fiji Finals. The performances seen during this inter-house event point to a bright future for athletics at Suva Grammar School.
