Heads up, Fiji! Mother Nature is in a mood, and she’s bringing the heavy rain! Yes, a HEAVY RAIN WARNING is out for the Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Viti Levu, Kadavu, and some smaller islands just trying to stay dry.
And let’s not forget—everyone else in Fiji gets a HEAVY RAIN ALERT as well. It’s like a surprise party, but instead of confetti, it’s just buckets of rain!
What’s brewing? An active trough of low pressure is causing a bit of a stir over the islands, while a friendly but determined northerly wind is playing the part of an unwelcome guest.
So, what can you expect before midnight tomorrow? Well, it’s mostly periods of rain, some heavy enough to make your shower look like a drizzle, mixed in with a few thunderstorms.
