The newly established Vatukoro rugby team from Ra demonstrated impressive talent and determination during the Fiji Sports Council’s under-20 7s tournament held at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. In the bowl quarter-finals, the Vatukoro team faced off against the Untouched Rugby squad and secured a solid 12-0 victory, showcasing their resilience and skill.
The team’s defensive strengths shone through in the first half, with Malakai Rokomua making a significant contribution to the scoreboard. Marika Dreudreu finalized the match with a crucial try in the second half, ensuring the team’s triumph.
