The Fiji Roads Authority Board (FRA) has announced that Apisai Ketenilagi will serve as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), starting from 25 November 2024, until a permanent CEO is appointed. Ketenilagi, who is already a respected member of FRA’s senior management team, is expected to facilitate the ongoing operation and advancement of key projects and initiatives during this transitional period.

The recruitment process for a new Chief Executive Officer is currently underway, with applications being accepted until 7 December 2024. FRA invites all qualified and interested candidates to apply before the deadline.

This interim leadership change provides an opportunity for continued momentum within the organization, promising stability as FRA seeks to fill the CEO position. With Ketenilagi at the helm, the authority is poised to maintain focus on its vital infrastructure projects that are essential for Fiji’s development.

This development not only assures continued progress but also highlights FRA’s commitment to transparency and inclusion in the hiring process for its top leadership role.
