Bryson highlighted that the association aims to empower young players through comprehensive coaching and mentorship, while also promoting values such as teamwork and respect. The initiative seeks to uplift clubs by using netball as a means of positive change, striving to create an inclusive and enjoyable environment for all participants.
The results from the matches included notable performances such as Smallville defeating Y-Seven 34-21 and Nadera Mystics narrowly winning against Angels with a score of 15-14 in the senior grades. In the Princess grade, Black Canary overcame Nadera Rubies 19-5, and in the Bulikula grade, Nadera Crystals won against Black Canary 15-6. Overall, the community’s involvement and the dedication from teams are essential elements contributing to the ongoing success and positive trajectory of netball in Fiji. The Association continues to provide a meaningful avenue for youth to engage in sports, steering them towards personal growth and community cohesion.
