Residents of Jittu Estate expressed their gratitude to Inspire Pacific and other contributors for organizing the Jittu Vuvale Fun Day in their community recently. Pita Nasivo, a local resident, highlighted the significance of the event, noting that it brought people together during the busy festive season and demonstrated a spirit of giving back.
Nasivo emphasized the positive impact of the fun day on local youth, particularly in a community often associated with high crime rates among young people. He stated, “I’m very thankful to the organizers for having this fun day here in Jittu, trying to get our youths, especially those who usually get caught up on the wrong side of the law.” The event was seen as a valuable opportunity to engage the younger generation, steering them toward more constructive activities.
The Jittu Vuvale Fun Day featured participation from over 10 teams and included various activities aimed at fostering community spirit. Additionally, a church service was held for attendees, further uniting the community in a positive and collaborative environment.
