Police are currently working to identify a woman whose body was discovered floating in a river near a home in Naidiridiri, Wainibuku, earlier today. According to Crime Scene Investigation officers, the woman is believed to be of iTaukei descent and is estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old.
The body has since been transported to the Mokani Morgue, where a postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
