Here’s what Mother Nature has in store for Fiji until midnight tomorrow: Expect a bit of a gray day with some showers trying to crash the party in places like Sigatoka-Korolevu, Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, and all those cozy nearby smaller islands. Lau and Lomaiviti group, Kadavu, and their tiny island sidekicks will also see some cloud cover. Meanwhile, the rest of us can enjoy partly cloudy skies—basically, the weather’s throwing a cotton candy of clouds around!
Temperatures will drop like your favorite ice cream when the sun goes down, so keep a sweater nearby. The southeast winds will moderate, kind of like that friend who only shows up for the good snacks, and seas will be moderate to rough—so if you’re on a boat, hold on to your hats and maybe your lunch!
Looking ahead to Thursday: More clouds have RSVP’d to the shower party in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, and the smaller islands—so don’t leave your umbrellas at home. Elsewhere, the weather plan is mainly fine, promising a bit of sun and fun. The cool evenings will stick around, reminding us that only ice cream should melt at night!
