Weather Update
Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi
Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your umbrellas because the Fiji group is under a Heavy Rain Alert! Yes, it’s time to embrace the splish-splash and unleash your inner duck as a trough of low pressure has decided to spoil us with cloud cover, showers, and rain until Saturday.
Tonight’s forecast brings you the delightful combo of occasional rain, heavy at times, and a few surprise thunderstorms—perfect for those who enjoy the thrill of nature’s own fireworks! The Northern Division, Lau, Lomaiviti groups, Yasawa, Mamanuca, and the northeastern parts of Viti Levu (yes, Tavua, Ra-Rakiraki, Naitasiri, Tailevu North, we’re looking at you) should expect the heaviest downpours.
