Fiji concluded its journey in the HSBC Cape Town 7s tournament with an impressive third-place finish, decisively defeating Spain 47-10 in the bronze medal match. The team, coached by Osea Kolinisau, had previously narrowly missed a spot in the championship final after a close match against France, which ended 19-17.
Determined to secure a win in the bronze medal playoff, Fiji demonstrated remarkable skill and teamwork, scoring at every opportunity and taking advantage of Spain’s mistakes.
