Twenty-five-year-old Mohammed Muzamil has been safely reunited with his family, as confirmed by the Fiji Police Force. His safe return comes after he was reported missing on January 13th.
According to FBC News, Muzamil had been staying with friends and family in Naiviqiri, Bua, a location he often frequents. His mother, Khatija Bi, expressed her growing concern to the police when her son failed to return home for over two weeks after attending a funeral in Bua. She cited poor network connectivity in the area as a significant barrier to maintaining communication with him during that time.
The police expressed gratitude to the public for their support and concern in assisting with efforts to locate Muzamil, highlighting the importance of community involvement in such situations. This positive resolution underscores the collective effort made by family, friends, and law enforcement to ensure the safety of individuals in the community.
