Fiji’s rugby 7s team, under the guidance of coach Osea Kolinisau, has achieved remarkable success by securing two medals at the recent Dubai and Cape Town 7s tournaments. This impressive performance has propelled them to the top of the HSBC SVNS Series standings.

In Dubai, Fiji clinched the gold medal, earning 20 points, and followed that up with a bronze medal in Cape Town, which added another 16 points to their tally. As a result, Fiji currently leads the series with a total of 36 points. Close behind is Spain with 32 points, while France and South Africa are tied for third and fourth with 30 points each. New Zealand holds the sixth position with 24 points.

After this exhilarating series of competitions, the teams will return home for a well-deserved break before gearing up for the Perth 7s scheduled for early next year.
