This localized heavy rainfall raises the risk of flash flooding, particularly in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
Recent rainfall measurements have recorded 57.0 millimeters in Tavua and 50.5 millimeters in Tokotoko over the past 24 hours. As a precaution, a flash flood warning has been issued for all of Viti Levu, while a flash flood alert is in place for the entirety of Vanua Levu.
