The organizer for the 2024 Miss Universe Fiji, Grant Dwyer, stated that Manshika Prasad was fairly judged as the winner among nine finalists during the live crowning event held on Friday. This statement comes in response to an announcement from Miss Universe Fiji officials, who claimed that the winner was incorrectly announced and identified Nadine Roberts as the actual winner. Dwyer clarified that the seven judges had unanimously voted for Manshika as the majority winner. He noted that one of the judges was affiliated with Lux Property Bali, while the other six were independent judges, as confirmed and listed on the official Miss Universe Fiji website. Dwyer insists that Prasad remains the official winner and will represent Fiji in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Mexico.
