ACS claimed a hard-earned 34-24 victory over Jasper Williams High School, with Fijiana Drua halfback Noelani Baselala playing a pivotal role in the match. The team from Sawani began strong, scoring consecutive tries in the first half to lead 12-5 at halftime.
The intensity continued in the second half, but ACS managed to widen their lead with three additional tries, making it challenging for Jasper to mount a comeback. In a thrilling encounter, Bucalevu Secondary secured their place in the semifinal with a narrow 15-12 win against Lomary Secondary School. Down 10-12 with just five minutes remaining, Bucalevu’s fullback executed a crucial play, racing for a last-minute try to clinch the victory.
