In a recent interview with Politico, Trump described many European nations as “decaying” for their inability to effectively manage migration and take decisive actions to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. He accused European leaders of allowing Ukraine to continue fighting against Russia “until they drop.”
Trump further asserted that Russia currently holds the “upper hand” in the conflict, advising Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to consider making territorial concessions to Moscow as part of a potential resolution.
In response to Trump’s remarks, Downing Street in the UK dismissed his assertions, highlighting the UK’s proactive stance in implementing sanctions against Russia and emphasizing its commitment to the US-led peace initiative.
