Arona Ah Poe and his friends embarked on a 1,139km journey from Samoa to Fiji to support the Manu Samoa team during their match against the Flying Fijians yesterday.
The group was eager to experience Fiji for the first time and was enthralled by the vibrant atmosphere at the stadium. For Arona, this visit had been a long-held dream, and he was thankful for the chance to be there with friends, cheering for their team.
“The experience of being in Fiji and supporting Manu Samoa is something I’m proud and excited about,” said Poe. The trip from Samoa was memorable for Arona and his friends, who initially intended to vacation in Fiji but decided that witnessing the match in person was too great an opportunity to miss.
“Coming that far from Samoa was amazing; we were planning to come on vacation here and love the place so far,” Arona remarked. He expressed confidence in Samoa’s chances of winning, while also acknowledging the prowess of the Fijian team.
They anticipated a fierce and thrilling match between the two strong squads. Arona intended to share the special moments and memories of their time in Fiji with his family upon their return home. “Let’s Go Manu Samoa,” he exclaimed.
