Pacific Specialist Healthcare (PSH) has unveiled new friendly payment options designed to help patients facing financial challenges, regardless of the complexity or cost of their treatment or surgery. Founder and CEO Parvish Kumar stated that saving lives is their primary concern, with financial aspects being secondary.

Currently, PSH offers general practitioner consultations at a highly affordable rate of $11.50, available around the clock. While treatments requiring higher fees based on the specific illness and the work involved will also be provided with more affordable payment alternatives.

Kumar noted that no private hospitals in Fiji or the broader Pacific region have previously introduced such supportive measures for patients. “As we expand our services to include all Pacific Island countries, we remain acutely aware that many individuals sadly lose their lives due to the inability to access immediate healthcare because of financial constraints,” he explained.

The organization’s ultimate goal is to eventually offer complex treatments and open-heart surgeries free of charge for deserving patients across Fiji and the entire Pacific region. Kumar mentioned plans to establish a PSH Foundation, which would consist of influential board members from various Pacific Island nations. This foundation aims to extend their services to the greater Pacific community and help PSH maintain its role as a leader in medical care in the region, all while promoting a healthier and more prosperous Pacific society.
