This condition has been a part of her life since she was 20 and, although it has presented challenges in her music career, she has chosen not to undergo surgery due to concerns over postoperative medications.
In her candid TikTok video, Jackson used her phone’s flashlight to illustrate the hole in her septum, and humorously noted that she could pass a spaghetti noodle through it. However, she also made a serious point, stating, “Drugs ruined my life,” urging viewers to stay away from substance use. Despite these challenges, Jackson proudly shared that she is approaching six years of sobriety.
Earlier this month, she received the Shining Star Award at the Friendly House Awards Luncheon, where she expressed gratitude for being part of a movement that aligns with her purpose. “Getting someone to develop conscious contact has easily been the greatest action I’ve ever taken, and I pray that I can continue to help others,” she said.
