Raj Dayal, a coach from Canada, arrived in Fiji over the weekend to prepare Nadi for the upcoming FMF Inter District Championship set to take place at Churchill Park in Lautoka this month.
His first objective was to lead the Jetsetters in their final match of the Digicel Fiji Premier League against Suva, where he achieved immediate success with a 2-1 victory. This win concluded their season with a total of 25 points, placing them sixth in the league.
Dayal will work with Varoon Karan to train the Green Machine, which has been placed in Group B alongside defending champions Ba, league winners Rewa, and Nadroga.
The IDC is scheduled to run from October 15 to 20.
