Methodist Church Mourns Loss of Former President Tevita Nawadra

Reverend Tevita Nawadra, the former president of the Methodist Church, has passed away at the age of 73. The Church confirmed the news of his death in a statement issued by the general-secretary. Reverend Nawadra was elected as president in August 2014 and previously served as the Church’s general-secretary. Reverend Jolame Lasawa, the current general-secretary, announced that funeral arrangements would be discussed, with additional information to be provided on the iTaukei radio program ‘Raici Jisu Matua’ this Sunday.
