The first-ever McDonald’s Inter-District Championship is set to take place, uniting 492 young football players from all over Fiji in a significant sporting event. The tournament will showcase teams from nine districts across four age categories: U-9, U-11, U-13, and U-15.
The participating districts include Labasa, Dreketi, and Seaqaqa from the North; Rewa, Suva, and Navua from the South; as well as Ba, Lautoka, and Nadi from the West. This thrilling championship aims to foster young football talent throughout the country and will be hosted at the Nasinu Muslim Primary & Secondary School Grounds in Nakasi.
The championship is scheduled to run from Friday, September 6, to Sunday, September 8, with the Minister for Lands & Mineral Resources, Filimoni Vosarogo, attending as the chief guest during the opening ceremony.
