The DUIYASANA Women’s Rugby Team has made history by becoming the first club to officially participate in Lautoka’s inaugural women’s rugby competition, representing a significant milestone for the sport in the Sugar City. Coach and player Ana Balenaika expressed excitement about the encouraging turnout at training sessions: “We’ve received a good number of women coming out to train, and it’s exciting to see the enthusiasm for women’s rugby in Lautoka.” The team is made up of women from various provinces, highlighting the diverse talents available within the community.
