Starting tomorrow, December 1, 2024, consumers will see an increase in fuel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices. The price of a litre of motor spirit will rise by 5 cents, bringing it to $2.67. Meanwhile, the cost of premix will go up to $2.51 per litre, up from $2.43.
Kerosene will experience a price hike of 7 cents, raising its cost to $1.74 per litre. Diesel will also see an increase, with prices moving from $2.18 to $2.27 per litre. For LPG, the price of a 4.5kg cylinder will increase from $14.97 to $15.35, while a 12kg cylinder will rise by $1.01, bringing its new price to $40.92. Additionally, bulk gas will now cost 8 cents more, increasing to $3.16, and autogas will increase slightly from $2.16 to $2.22 per litre.
These changes reflect fluctuations in the market and may impact budgeting for households and businesses alike, prompting a need for consumers to adapt their financial strategies accordingly.
