The Ministry of Education has expressed a strong expectation for District and Divisional Officers to enhance their performance in supporting schools across Fiji. This call for improvement follows a recent training workshop aimed at equipping these officers with essential skills and knowledge for executing their roles effectively.
Education Minister Aseri Radrodro reported that the workshop concentrated on several pressing issues identified by the Ministry, including training on the Fijian Education Management Information System (FEMIS), understanding existing legislations and policies, utilization of grants, and the introduction of new initiatives.
