The Fiji Secondary School Athletic Association has received a substantial sponsorship and cash contribution from the Damodar Group for the upcoming 2025 Coca-Cola Games (Fiji Finals). The torch relay for the games kicked off at Fatty’s Shop and made its way to Damodar City, where an official ceremony took place.
Div Damodar, the CEO of Damodar Group, expressed gratitude for the event, noting its role as a significant platform for fostering future sports leaders and national representatives in Fiji. He commended the Fiji Athletics Association for its efforts in organizing the prestigious event, saying, “We always look forward to the Coke Games simply because it’s a venue for the youths of Fiji to progress further and have a great future.”
Tevita Nawamea, the treasurer of the Fiji Secondary School Athletic Association, also expressed gratitude to Coca-Cola for their essential support, especially during the association’s 50th-anniversary celebrations. He acknowledged Div Damodar’s generous donations over the years, including cash prizes for various achievements.
The highly anticipated Coca-Cola Games will take place from April 24 to 26 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. This event, which marks a momentous occasion for the association, brings together 130 students from 50 secondary schools across Fiji, serving to enhance community engagement and promote camaraderie among the youth.
