The Minister emphasized that this budget aims to align with the Government’s vision of collaboratively rebuilding a better Fiji. It will concentrate on maintaining macro-fiscal stability while encouraging sustainable growth led by the private sector. Additionally, it will address socio-economic challenges, promote inclusive development, and establish economic and fiscal systems resilient to future adversities.
Key priorities for the budget include essential infrastructure projects, climate resilience initiatives, structural reforms for enhanced public service efficiency, and overall improvements to respond effectively to unforeseen challenges.
The final budget details are set to be revealed in June 2025. Interested parties are encouraged to send their written submissions by post, in person, or via email, with a deadline of Wednesday, April 30.
