Melania Tora of Miss Tents & Awning PTE Limited has been named the ‘Queen’ of the 2024 Miss Hibiscus Festival. During the crowning ceremony, Tora expressed her dedication to serving the Fijian community.
The 24-year-old expressed her gratitude towards her family for their unwavering support over the past year and acknowledged her sponsors, Tents & Awnings Limited. Currently, Tora is pursuing a master’s degree in psychology at the University of the South Pacific. She previously graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts and Psychology from Deakin University in Victoria, Australia, and holds a Diploma in Arts and Psychology from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. Her academic successes and commitment to psychology are guiding her toward a career as a clinical psychologist.
Additionally, Pepe Malani, representing Miss Fiji Fashion Week, was awarded the second runner-up title, while Miss Island Accommodation, Martina Sigrah, received the first runner-up title.
