Weather Update

Hold on to your umbrellas, folks! The weather in Fiji today is going to be a mixed bag of clouds and brief showers, especially if you’re around Navua, Suva-Nausori, Serua-Namosi, Naitasiri, Tailevu, Rakiraki, Cakaudrove, and Southern Bua provinces. If you’re enjoying the sun on Kadavu, Lau, or in the Lomaiviti groups, don’t get too comfortable – brief showers might just crash your picnic!
Elsewhere, it’ll be mainly fine, like that friend who always shows up on time. Expect cool nights, so you might want to grab a blanket or at least a cozy pair of socks. The southeast winds will blow in with moderate fresh breezes, giving you that delightful “I just stepped out of a wind tunnel” experience. Seas are likely to be moderate to rough, so best leave your surfboard at home unless you fancy a tumble!
Looking ahead to Tuesday, guess what? It might just turn out nice and fine! Although Navua, Suva-Nausori, Serua-Namosi, Naitasiri, Tailevu, Rakiraki, Cakaudrove, and the lovely Southern Bua provinces will still get their cameo appearance by brief showers. Don’t worry; everywhere else will be basking in clear skies, but do prepare for cool nights to sweep back in like a surprise guest at a party that nobody invited!
For the different spots around Fiji:
– In Navua / Suva / Nausori, look out for cloudy periods with a sprinkle of showers – just enough to keep you on your toes!
– If you’re chilling in Sigatoka/Coral Coast, it’s mainly fine, but don’t forget the cool nights which might make you rethink that beach towel you’ve chosen for “warmth.”
– Nadi / Lautoka / Ba will see mainly fine weather – perfect for those outdoor plans that might involve some serious sun-holding or sunscreen action!
– Over by Tavua/Rakiraki, it’s looking fine! Just a few fleeting showers over Rakiraki to keep things exciting.
– Natadradave/Korovou will experience cloudy periods, so those clouds might join you for a mini picnic under the stars.
– For the Yasawa/Mamanuca group, enjoy mainly fine weather, but remember to dress for the cool nights!
– Labasa, you’re in luck with fine weather ahead. Perfect days and cool nights set the scene for some serious evening lounging!
– Savusavu will also find fine weather interrupted by brief showers. Cool nights are again making their presence felt.
– Lau/Lomaiviti and Kadavu can enjoy the fine weather with just the occasional brief shower to keep things interesting.
– Now for our friends in Rotuma: a low-pressure trough is keeping things cloudy and providing a few showers and the chance of thunderstorms. Wear your raincoat, and don’t forget your lightning dance moves!
