Here’s what’s brewin’ on the weather front for the Fiji group until midnight tomorrow:
If you’re lounging in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu, or any of the charming smaller islands, you might be seeing a mix of cloudy skies and those elusive brief showers today. But hang in there—tomorrow promises some cloudier periods and a bit more shower action. Don’t forget your raincoat, or your umbrella, or both—just in case Mother Nature decides to be particularly generous!
For the rest of our beautiful Fiji: It looks like Mr. Sunshine is doing most of the heavy lifting with fine weather today. Just keep an eye out for those sneaky isolated afternoon or evening showers that might try to crash your outdoor plans. On a cooler note—nights will be refreshingly crisp!
Winds will be moderate, blowing in from the east to northeast but switching to a more sociable southeast tomorrow. Seas? Moderate, but perhaps a little grumpy at times.
Looking ahead to Saturday: Expect a reunion of cloudy periods and some showers across our favorite regions like Serua-Namosi, and the Suva-Nausori crew. As for the rest of you? Fine weather is still holding the fort, as long as those pesky afternoon and evening showers don’t crash the party!
As for specific spots:
Navua / Suva / Nausori: Better grab your cup of coffee or tea—today’s a mix of partly cloudy skies and brief showers, leading to a more shower-friendly situation tomorrow. But don’t fret, it’ll still be cool in the evenings!
Sigatoka/Coral Coast: A fine day is on the menu with just a possibility of some cheeky afternoon or evening showers—so keep your sunscreen and an umbrella handy!
Nadi / Lautoka / Ba: Your weather forecast shines bright with fine weather. But the afternoon may bring a shower just to keep you on your toes.
Tavua/Rakiraki: A partly cloudy day with fleeting showers today, but you might want to prep for a cloudy and shower-filled tomorrow in Rakiraki.
For Natadradave/Korovou: Expect a similar scenario: partly cloudy with a chance of showers today, leading to more cloud cover tomorrow. Cool nights will keep you cozy!
On to the Yasawa/Mamanuca group: Enjoy the fine weather and cooler nights—no showers crashing this party!
Labasa: Fine weather is in the cards, but watch out for the chances of an afternoon or evening shower!
Savusavu: A bit of part-cloudy charm today with fleeting showers, but tomorrow, rain might join the cloud parade.
And for Lau/Lomaiviti and Kadavu: You’ll be in the same boat—partly cloudy with isolated showers today, transitioning to more clouds and possible showers tomorrow!
Lastly, in Rotuma: Things are about to get dramatic with a trough of low pressure hanging around—this means cloudy skies, showers, and possibly some thunder. It’s a tropical soap opera out there!
Outlook for Saturday: Overall, clouds, showers, and a flair for drama seem to be in store across many regions!
