Weather Alert: Fijian Funnies Ahead!

Today’s weather for the fabulous Fiji group calls for cloudy periods accompanied by brief showers in your southeastern tropical paradise – think of Viti Levu, from Serua/Namosi to the bustling city of Suva, and all the way up to Korovou. Kadavu and its tiny island buddies are in on the action, too, along with the southern half of Vanua Levu (Southern Bua, we’re looking at you). Taveuni, Lau, and the lovely Lomaiviti group can expect the same cloudiness, while Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba will enjoy partly cloudy skies – perfect for a leisurely day of sipping drinks and pretending to be productive.
In less turbulent spots, the sun might just decide to make an appearance. Expect cool nights that might have you reaching for a light blanket or an extra layer, because who knew nature liked to keep us on our toes?
The winds will be sweeping in from the south to southeast, fresh enough at times to help you contemplate whether your hat is truly secure. As for the sea conditions, let’s call it moderate to rough – not exactly the best day for a yacht party, unless you’re into the whole “wild adventure” thing.
