Weather Update
Brought to you by the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi, and hoping for a bit of sunshine at 10:45 AM on Saturday, July 26, 2025!
Situation: We’ve got a weak trough of low pressure throwing a bit of a dull party over the group, while an east to southeast wind flow decides to join the fun (it always does).
Forecast through midnight tomorrow for our beautiful Fiji group: Get ready for a cloud cover that might cause you to wonder if someone forgot to pay the sun a visit! Expect some showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups, along with Kadavu and those tiny islands nearby. Elsewhere, it’ll be partly cloudy with a chance of brief showers popping up like unexpected guests at a party. Expect a cool night, because who doesn’t love some snuggly weather? Winds will be moderate to fresh, and the seas will be a bit rough, so maybe skip the waterslide today.
Looking ahead to Monday, it’s a continuation of the cloudy vibe with some showers over the same highlighted hotspots—Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups, plus our ever-friendly Kadavu. The rest can look forward to fine weather, except for the possibility of some isolated afternoon or evening showers that like to swing by uninvited. Nights will still be cool, and the wind will keep whistling from the east-southeast, with seas remaining grab-your-life-jacket rough.

Remember, folks, if you need an umbrella, keep it close, especially if you want to channel your inner rain dancer! Stay safe, and may your weather be enjoyable!
