Suva lawyer Barbara Malimali has been taken into custody by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) for questioning. Reports indicate that she is under investigation for alleged abuse of office.
FICAC was originally set to hold a press conference at 11:30 am, but that has been postponed to a later time. Attorney-General Graham Leung informed FijiLive that they plan to hold a press conference at 1:30 pm today.
