Vunisea Secondary School celebrated a remarkable achievement at the 2025 Maritime Zone Athletics Championships, where they not only claimed the overall championship but also dominated both the boys’ and girls’ divisions.
In the boys’ category, Vunisea excelled with an impressive tally of 12 gold, seven silver, and four bronze medals. Following them in the rankings, Ratu Lalabalavu Secondary School secured second place with nine gold, five silver, and eleven bronze medals, while Adi Maopa Secondary School rounded out the top three with six gold, fourteen silver, and eight bronze medals.
The girls’ division saw Vunisea maintain its winning streak, amassing eight gold, three silver, and three bronze medals. Richmond Methodist High School finished closely behind in second place with seven gold, eight silver, and three bronze medals. Ratu Lalabalavu Secondary School also showed strong performance, placing third with six gold, eight silver, and three bronze medals.
