A passenger was taken to Labasa Hospital following an incident where the vehicle they were in went off the road and crashed into a house in Buca, Savusavu last Sunday. Acting Divisional Police Commander North, Superintendent of Police Eroni Soqosoqo, reported that the driver and two other passengers were transported to Savusavu Subdivisional Hospital after the early morning accident.
According to Superintendent Soqosoqo, while the driver and one passenger received treatment and were later discharged, another passenger was referred to Labasa Hospital for additional medical care. Fortunately, there were no injuries to the people in the house that the vehicle struck. Police presence at the scene played a crucial role in assisting the victims of the accident.
