A 62-year-old man from Sigatoka has tragically become the latest victim of a road accident. According to local police, the incident occurred around 1 a.m. this morning when the man was driving on Queens Road at Koromumu. His vehicle veered off the road and collided with railings.
A driver passing by noticed the vehicle and stopped to investigate, only to find the man unresponsive. Emergency services were called, and he was transported to Sigatoka Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident to understand better what happened.
