Fiji heavyweight boxing champion James ‘The Beast’ Singh is gearing up to defend his title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Saturday, August 31. Singh expressed confidence in his preparation, stating that he has put in the necessary effort to be ready for the match, as reported by the Fiji Sports Council (FSC) Media.

Dauloloma, on the other hand, is looking to replicate his performance from June, where he defeated Singh in the second round to secure the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt. With each boxer having one victory over the other, this upcoming fight will determine the overall winner.

Promoter Samir Khan of Bluewater Boxing Promotions is set to support the victorious fighter in boosting his international rankings by facilitating matches with top overseas opponents.

The main event features local favorite Junior Binnu Singh facing Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF (World Boxing Foundation) Australasian featherweight title. Mudaliar confirmed earlier this week that he has successfully met the 57-kilogram weight limit and plans to maintain it until the fight.

Additional bouts include experienced boxer Savenaca Naliva going up against Sikeli Senidoko in a cruiserweight matchup, while Ronald Naidu will compete against Rakuro Dauvavana.
