Suva FC Sets Sights on Victory: Can They Break Free from Relegation?

Flick Hygiene Suva FC is focused on improving their performance and avoiding relegation as they gear up to face Navua in round 15 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League this Sunday. After a recent 3-2 victory over Nasinu in round 14, the team is motivated to continue their winning momentum.

Head coach Babs Khan expressed his satisfaction with the team’s preparation, stating, “The preparation through the week went well for the boys. We have been working on a new style of play, focusing on building from the back and controlling possession.”

Khan recognized Navua as a strong team, especially after their notable performance in the Fiji Fact final. “It will be a tough match, as Navua is a good side that played in the Fiji Fact final. They also drew with Rewa in round 14, so they still have their rhythm. We know they will be a tough and solid team, but we are prepared for it.”

Despite the challenges ahead, Suva is determined to be fully prepared for the match. “We have no injuries on the team; everyone is fit and ready. We hope to escape relegation and get the Suva team back on track to a winning streak,” added Khan.

He encouraged fans and supporters to lend their unwavering support by attending the match and cheering the team to victory against Navua.

Additionally, a double-header event will take place at Uprising Sports Centre on Sunday, featuring Nasinu FC against Tailevu Naitasiri at 1 PM, followed by the highly anticipated match between Navua and Flick Hygiene Suva FC at 3 PM. Nadi will host Labasa at Prince Charles Park at 3 PM on the same day.
