Shop N Save Supermarket has reiterated its dedication to Fijian rugby by renewing its naming rights sponsorship for Super Rugby Pacific through the 2025 season. The Fijian Drua made this announcement in a recent press release, confirming that the tournament will continue to be referred to as Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific in Fiji.
Nisheel Kisun, the executive director of Shop N Save Supermarket, expressed the company’s pride in having been the naming rights sponsor since 2023, highlighting the competition’s expanding influence across the nation. “Super Rugby Pacific has captured the hearts of everyone in Fiji, regardless of age or background; it is one of the most viewed events on television in the country,” Kisun noted.
This partnership with the Fijian Drua ensures that local communities will continue to enjoy thrilling rugby matches. Fijian Drua chief executive Mark Evans emphasized the importance of this sponsorship, stating that it has been instrumental in elevating the competition’s profile in Fiji over the past three years. “Their support allows us to host the competition and enhances its visibility within our territory,” Evans explained.
In an exciting development for rugby enthusiasts, Shop N Save has also become an authorized seller of tickets for all Fijian Drua home games. The upcoming 2025 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season will commence with a match between the Crusaders and the Hurricanes this Friday at 6.05 PM at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch. Fijian fans can look forward to the Drua’s opening match against the Brumbies this Saturday at 3.35 PM at HFC Bank Stadium.
