Revitalizing Matailobau: $34,600 Boost for Community Development

A funding of $34,600 has been allocated for community development projects in Matailobau, Naitasiri, as announced by the Minister for Rural Development and Indigenous Affairs, Ifereimi Vasu. This investment aims to enhance the local infrastructure, which is part of a broader initiative known as the Village Improvement Scheme.

The minister expressed gratitude towards the locals for their dedication and effort towards community improvement, facilitated through government support. This project notably impacts the youth and local leaders who will be involved in the development process.

The initiatives include the construction of community centers, improved access to water, educational facilities, and the use of solar energy systems to ensure reliable services.
