On April 7, police in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, responded to a domestic disturbance call at Hill’s residence, one day before Lakeeta filed for divorce. According to court documents and reports by TMZ, the alleged abuse includes instances of physical violence, such as being shoved to the ground, forcibly removed from her home, and having a marijuana cigarette forced in her face. Additionally, claims that Hill has spat on his wife and pulled her hair have been made.
The couple’s marriage commenced in January 2024. Yet, Lakeeta contends that the abuse began mere months after their wedding, including alleged incidents during her pregnancy.
Tyreek Hill’s legal team has firmly denied these accusations, dismissing them as a baseless “shakedown.” The investigation by the NFL underscores the league’s ongoing effort to address issues of domestic violence within its ranks.
